Ushtobe (Kazakh: Үштөбе, Üştöbe) is a town and seat of Karatal District in the Almaty Region of south-eastern Kazakhstan. Population: 24,895 (2009 Census results);[1] 22,472 (1999 Census results).[1]
The Central Hospital of District is located in Ushtobe.
